I think 1700 is too high. It may have the 5 down transmission, if you can get used to that, it is a pretty good bike.

Before you buy a mail order bike, please look through all the pages under registration issues for any postings that are pertinent to your state. It could save you some $ and aggravation.

Dirtbike on mso dont buy it in CT
If it says "dirtbike" under type on the mso you may as well forget registering it in CT. Consider it an expensive lesson.

Sputtering..
I had sputtering that went away when I adjusted the clip on the needle. Carbs can be tempermental depending on your height above sea level.. and what height above sea level the bike was manufactured...
