The problem is, there's no real feedback to what you're saying and I tend to forget that and drop smarta55ed coments without the appropriate little emoticons.

I kept reading your post and thinking there was no way you could've gotten so worked up over oil... but then I thought maybe you were in a really bad mood when you wrote it or something.

Amsoil

Sounds like I'm the only clown foolish enough to pay $12/quart for Amsoil. Used to run Rotella and it dirtied/darkened in a week or two. Also, once slightly dirty my shifter would lock up between 1st and 2nd causing me to almost get rearended a number of times. Tried the Amsoil once and there was no comparison. Oil lasts alot longer but the bigggest difference was the smoothness in shifting...the lockup between gears issue disappeared on first ride and the shifter almost becomes like a hairline trigger!

Pour small sample of oil on smooth concrete painted floor. Wearing sneakers run and stop and skid over the oil spot. If you slide more than 5 feet the oil is good. Install oil and monitor level and change frequently. Ride on!

Don't forget to calibrate the sneakers annually. Twice a year if the sneakers were made in China!
