To be sure change your fuse, they can look good but are open on one end. Also check your battery connectors for corrosion.

Would it not be a more efficient setup to have direct drive instead of jackshaft. That would also take up space which you would need to use for batteries.

From the conversion kit it seem that the drive motor is built-in the rear wheel. You would have to adapt it to a spoke rim. I do not think the scooter would serve you for donor parts.

The coil will be under the tank but the CDI will either be under the seat or side panel.

Also check the coil terminal ends for loose connections.

On mine I have a bad wire connector in the CDI plug, so I cut/crimped all new terminal ends and all is good now.

If it is a 4+2 CDI, then on the 2 position plug disconnecting the Black wire with white strip wire will by-pass the system kill.

You would hook the meter lights the same as they are on the "Zong's", the speedo is mechanical so no electrical hookup. Adding the Tach, hook the power and ground same as the meter lights and the run...

Typically the fuse is located where the battery compartment is on those style scooters. Follow the red wire form the battery to a white plastic fuse holder.
