Wiring up a gio remote starter

Hi all! I have a gio remote starter that I have no instructions on. It has a plug that matches nothing on the mini beast that I purchased. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the remote starter? I also have a couple of 250 dirtbikes. Might wanna install this on one of them. Just need to know what color wire is for what on the remote box?
Thanks in advance!

Why would you need a remote starter?

Mostly I wanted it for the mini beast from gio so that if my kid got outa control I could shut him down with the press of a button. No real reason to put it on the dirtbike other than a toy!

The only wiring diagram I have ever seen for a 110cc quad with remote is here:

http://www.adventureimports.co.nz/in...ATV_manual.pdf

The wiring diagram is on the last page. The problem is that is doesn't have enough wires when compared to ones for sale on ebay. At least it may be partially correct and can get you started.

I can understand that. I thought you wanted to be able to start it from the lazy-boy.

Thanks for the info, my unit has eight wires feeding the remote and this one has six, but I'm sure it's a good starting place. If anyone else has any additional info, I would greatly appreciate it.
Have a great week people!

Thanks! This looks great! Can't wait to get home to see if it's the same as the one I have. If memory serves correct, that's the same configuration of wires that the one I have, has. I'll let you know how it works!
Thanks again!

Not all Chinese ATV where prewired for an alarm. If it was you would have a 9-pin connector somewhere on the ATV.

Did you purchase the alarm/remote starter with the ATV? Did the unit come with a wiring diagram? Who is it made by?

Sorry for all the questions but the diagram that I posted is for the Kedsum alarm/remote starter unit. If you wire it incorrectly you could damage the CDI or other electrical parts on the ATV.

I would contact them first to see if the ATV has been prewired for the alarm. If so then ask where to plug in the alarm.

remote wiring on gio

None of the quads from gio come pre wired for the remote starter. The remote starter you get from gio does not come with any instruction or wiring diagram. I will be testing the above diagram against the gio remote starter soon to determine if it works or not. I will post what I find out. I think it should work, but time will tell. In order to get it to work on the gio quad, you will have to cut and splice the wires. :?

I'm keeping an eye on this thread here since I ordered one from Gio myself.. my daughter almost dumped the thing over her first time on it and I wished I had the kill button in my hand while that was happening.

One would hope when you buy accessories they're made to fit, but alas, I'm hoping for too much it seems!

I have one of these for my sons Giobeast 200.
I'll post up a wiring diagram as soon as I get a chance to connect it.
