Lifan GY-2 Front Fender mounts...?

Hi all, I was wondering if someone with a lifan gy2 could let me know if thier front fender has a metal plate under where the screws go in...

My GY5 has the fender, with the 3 screws and rubber things the screws go through... and then a metal plate that goes under the fender which the bolts go through... Does the gy2 have one aswell? the one off the 5 doesnt fit.

Also, do you know if those rubber screw holder-thingamajiggers go with the metal side up or down? I took mine out and forgot which way up they were... Thanks in advance, anyhelp is appreciated, gotta get the fender back on

With the rubber gromets instsalled into the finder, the metal inserts go in from the top.

I'll admit, I did have to look at my GY-2 in stock

Ok so what your saying is they go in from the top, and the part with the metal showing is on the top side... thats what I thought... Now I just need to get the brace.
