Air Filter XF200
I just knew I should have written down the part number to the Uni or Moose number when I came across it during my intial research of the XF, but does anyone remember what air filter they used? Im going to be working at the dealership tomorrow and wanted to get it ordered up while I was there.

I've only clened mine once and have never bought a new one. I'd safely assume one for a DR200SE would work.
Is your current one torn or damaged? Usually you can simply clean and reoil and reuse the same one many times. Also, FWIW, I ride in a very very dusty desert environment. I have 3,500 plus miles when I inspected and cleaned my air filter and it wasn't even very dirty.

Not damaged, just a preemptive strike, is all. I typically go through a new-to-me bike, brand new or not. I prefer the name brand air filters as they tend to hold up better. Im over in south western pa. Humid, crappy weather here. Thanks for the heads up.

Filters are inexpensive, but seriously the stock one is of excellent quality. I'd inspect it, maybe clean and oil it before replacing it. PS: I really hated humidity!

Not familliar with your bikes here, but I know my YZ air filter never looks dirty either. It's been ridden this year in some pretty dusty conditions when it was hot up in the mountains.
FWIW I put a UNI on it last year and when the original came off it was fairly clean too. |
