got fuel yesterday...

filled up the F350 SDD, my daily driver when I'm not riding.
8O $105 I was on empty

I think the nice things is that I've been riding (commuting) all summer, with $4 fill ups on the bike every 2 weeks, and the last time I filled the truck up was on June 1st......

What does gas cost there?

Here it is about $.107.9 - $.106.9 or so I believe per metric liter.

When I was in Edmonton a couple weeks back I got it for 87 :S

Try my airplane. Filled up last week (bear in mind one never runs a plane below 1/4 tank) and it cost me $245.

Worth every penny!

A gallon (us) = 3.785L, so if I took our price per liter, multiplied by 3.785 it would be $4.05 (CDN) per US Galon. According to XE.com $4.05 CDN = $3.85 US (currently, it obviously fluctuates). So about a dollar more per gallon.

edit: The price I based it on was 1.069, which is the price here, about 10 minutes west they have more taxes and sometimes it costs up to 10 cents more per liter.

I meant because of the number being the same as the displacement. I had a 65 with a 289 100 years ago...

i would LOVE to get my hands on a 71 mach1 and do the rebuild my self.. if i had the money for it i would go all out with a 2010 cobra motor, trans, and rear end.. also swap the 2010 interior into the interior of the 71..

i think thats what ford should have done, go back to the 69-71 body style, and just update the motor, trans, rear end, suspension, and interior to modern stuff.. but keep the body EXACTLY the same as it was back then. no minor changes, no tweaking the body just make the damn body the exact same
