Lifan Not charging at higher rpms.

This Lifan 140cc is installed in my 2008 Lifan lf110gy3 clone.

It has a lighting coil in it and the factory bikes wiring and battery is intact. (New battery as of March of this year)

This is the Problem I am having. The engine doesnt charge at cruising rpms. Last night was the first night I Took it out after the running issue I had forever. The lights were all good to go but 10 minutes into the ride the lights got dimmer and dimmer. But every time I Stopped at a light the lights would perk back up and be bright.

I know the bike is charging at idle but I am not sure why it is not doing it at speed. Everything is tightend down and nothing looks out of place with the wiring.

Any Ideas?

did it charge when you had your 110cc engine in? when i changed my 125 engine to a yx140 i put a different fly wheel on, that would only put out electricity at idle and as soon as i revved it or drove it it wouldnt produce electricity, i changed my flywheel and got it working perfect, give that a try, if not ild check the reg/rec as that could be faulted and only producing a good flow of electricity when its been fed small amounts, also what amp is your battery?

It could be you are using the wrong flywheel and stator combo as some are 8 ploe or 6 pole. It could also be you have a bad voltage rectifier or it is simply wired wrong for your new set-up.

or you could have a 2 pole one which is just ignition, i had a 6pole one which is ignition and lighting which will work just fine, like buzzkill said check the both the stator and flywheel and check the pulse module and make sure thats not bent or anything,
