something around a 44-42 tooth sprocket in the rear should help you out.

I've heard people having this problem too, the only solution I've heard has already been said.
![]() I've had mine to 70 with a good tailwind with my mega girth in the seat. |

IIRC I went with a 45 in the back and a 17 or something like that in the front. It would have been geared a little high for the dirt but on the street it was fine.

My bike sputter if rev too high. That's about as fast as it gets. In fact, some damn fluid drips on exhaust causing smoke when I go over 40mph for ~2mins.
Don't you think the soft front shocks are a little dangerous to go that fast? I got one too. It's an 06 DB-05 with 150KM on it. I paid $1250 for the thing, because it's tagged street legal in CA, which is virtually impossible to find. |

I've got a 07 hi bird that maxed at about 48 mph and at top end the engine rattled like over revving with insufficient load. I installed a 17/ 40 sprocket combo and it now keeps up with traffic at 60 mph and cruises well at 55 mph. I also put on a pod intake, drilled out the catalytic converter and slid the carburetor main needle cir clip down a notch. Runs much more better now. Good luck, jack

If you are sputtering you may have carb or CDI issues. This could be limiting your speed.

ERT, be extra careful then.
Spud, I'll take up on your offer. I will most definitely snap a few pictures on my first oil change. Can't really find neutral, but I think the oil change will help. I hear it's a common problem. |

I believe the Roketa bikes employ Honda sprockets, just like the other Lifanoid motorcycles. I own a Yamaha cloned engine, so I will let the Lifan owners give you the correct sprocket information.
