Lifan 200cc OHC engine info

Hi there guys. I'm searching for info on the LIFAN 163FML, 200cc Over Head Cam engine and I'm not having much luck (maybe I'm not using the search feature very well?)
Pics of the damage and engine.

Anyway, I'm in need of a stator cover and shifter for this engine. Can anyone point me in the right direction as where I can get these? I'm in the US.
Will also need electrical diagrams, but the ones I've found here are mostly for the Zong engines. Are they identical? Anyways, thanks in advance for your help.

TORKER.

Shifters are mostly generic, but a stator cover and shifter from an early eighties Honda XR200 (or similar displacement) will likely fall into place.

Thanks for your reply. If the shifters are generic, I may have one already. Thanks for the lead on the stator cover. Will check RIGHT NOW!!!

Where else can I get parts for this engine??

Does anybody know what parts interchange with the XR or ATC 200 motors?

Cams? Does the XR 200 or ATC 200X cam fit? (This is an OHC engine)

Has anybody bored any of these engines? Up to what?

Stock bore is 63.5mm. Will it take a 65mm, xr 200 piston? Does anybody knows whats the pin height?

Has anybody done work on any of these motors?

Any info on these is really apreciated.
Thanks,
TORKER.

i wasnt with the great american lifan very long. but i think they only had that motor in the gray market, untill they got control and released the sport bike with the "racing shift pattern" which is illegal here, but i think kato has or had one. you could pm if he doesnt chime in as a last resort you could try al  since they have such wonderful support and are the biggest, best china bike in the U.S. im sure they will just fall all over themselves helping

Well, I'm sorry to say that, at least, no XR stator cover will fit The Lifan 200. Maybe a Zongshen 200 cover will. I have not found pics, please, point me in the right direction. I did e-mail Aerican Lifan, but so far, no response and there's no response on the phone. And I can't find a phone for hooper imports. :( :( What next???
Thanks,
TORKER.

the xr cover will not fit as it does not have the provision for the electric starter.

I do have a shifter available.

Hey Wild,
closed my shop last year, but continue to help a few forums with parts. Not gonna make a killin or anything, but did really like the AL units. When properly prepped I had very few warranty claims, they really are decent machines. I am working on a faster quote system for parts orders with Shawn, so hopefully in a couple weeks we can make it easier on my customers.
Keep in touch.

Link is not working for me. frostbite has been helping me, I am not fully set-up yet. Working on a sticky somewhere to post my offer of service for parts and the discount for members.

Check out this post about XR200 / XR200R cams: http://www.chinariders.net/modules.p...&highlight=cam

Maybe you can measure your cam and compare.
