Hello from Kansas!

I'd just like to say hi to everyone! I think this must be the only Chinese bike forum around huh? LOL Anyways I have come here to learn about my new bike & hopefully make some new friends.

A little about me. I'm a 27 year old father of three with a pretty lenient wife that puts up with all of my project cars & hasn't complained..... much. I've ridden friends' bikes before, but I have never owned one of my own until 2 days ago. I got a 2004 Maxfine MXF150-4N as partial trade for a project car that I had.

The bike only has 170 miles on it & supposedly has a sprocket with one tooth larger on the rear? I got out & rode for about 15 minutes the other day & it seems to have some real kick to it & other than being a little top heavy, its pretty fun. I noticed the title says the bike is a Qian. Can anyone tell me more about the bike? I looked all over the internet & so far I have found one site that stated it as having a 10hp 150cc motor, but then said "Powerful 200cc motor!". The guy I got it from says it is a Honda XL knockoff made in Iowa, but everything I have found so far tells me Chinese bike.

It's missing one turn signal lens & the headlight cover. If you all know of a place to buy replacement/performance parts, please feel free to let me know!

Welcome to the forums. You are correct, it was made in China and not Iowa. Of course it could have been taken out of the crate in Iowa.

Yes, "Made in China, Assembled in Iowa Garage"

Welcome to the forums, and I'm sure there will be lots of help with you on the new (to you) bike!

Enjoy! ..and post some pics if and when you get a chance.

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks for the quick replies!

I've already got a million questions to ask, but I don't want to come on here looking like one of those one post wonders, if you know what I mean.

Deleted the pic link. Gonna try something else.

Welcome to the forum, there's a great group of guys here. Some Canadians even!

Fixing the bike up and modifying it is a big part of the fun.

Welcome. There is actually other forums out there for Chinese bikes, but this one is by far the best.

Welcome! Your photo link didn't work for me; maybe you'd have better luck with Photobucket.

Cheers!

Your bike looks like it's in good shape. I'm sure that you'll have lots of fun with it.

What is that lock cylinder on the carry rack? Is it a helmet lock?

Just above the signal? Yes that's a helmet lock.
