Headlight Swap

I swapped out my headlight assembly for one I bought off of e-bay.

I think it was ImEasy that posted a link to them a few weeks ago.

Anyway here are the links to the pictures;

I don't think it is any brighter than the stock light and there is almost no focus to the beam, but I sure think it looks cool.

I will try riding it like this for a few days before I make up my mind about keeping it this way. I may have to look into changing out the lamps to something that puts more lumins on the ground.

Oh heck, I think I'll embed a pic here to for those who don't like links.

Any other pics? So far I like it!

I think it would look cool to make my gy5 into a sort of super motard naked street fighter type of bike. It'd be different. lol

That seems to be the path I am heading down

I thought 3 pics would be enough. I'll upload some more to Photobucket.

OK maybe one with the whole bike in the frame.

looks awesome
I like how it sits much closer/tighter instead of mine that hangs out there about 2 inches too far.

Here are 3 more, from further away. I'll need to take some from the seat and I will try to get a shot or two with the lights lit.

Those lights look they are bright to look at, but don't light up the road very well.
I wonder if you could swap in some projector beams?

I implied that the bandit was mine yesterday. It actually belongs to my roommate. He uses it to commute on nice days and has been eying my bike because I get twice the millage he does. Of course his top end is twice mine and will get to that top end a whole lot faster.

He is thinking about getting something smaller for the week days and using the big bike for weekends.

Polygon,
How hard was it to mount and did it come with brackets or instructions? When you ordered them did you specify for what bike you were going to mount them or is it pretty much universal??? Keep me posted on the focus beam as I am still on the hunt for better lighting... Gonna have good weather this week!!!!!!
