Front Ball Joints for a NorthStar 250

Where can I find the upper and lower Front Ball Joints for a NorthStar 250 ?

Also, are they just pressed in ?

The front ball joints cannot be replaced.

After taking the front suspension apart I realized that.

The Upper and Lower end caps can be pressed inward to reduce the gap thus making it tighter.

A 20 ton press was used along with the proper spacers to apply the load.

It was then greased and the cups were installed.

After that the frame sleaves were well greased and the cavity where the pin goes and assembled.

The left side of the quad now feels real tight.

Both sides are done, the front end has no slop.

It is not time for a test.

Thanks for your detailed description about servicing the ball joints. We have a quad that has pressed ball joints as well, and when they fail I'll likely modify the control arms to accept bolt-in joints.

Do you have any pics?

Bolt-in tie rod ends would be the way to go.

I did not want to spend the time looking for the correct tapered end since the quad is semi new.
