Early Spring Rides, 2009

The warm weather has finally arrived in South Idaho, so I went riding the first two days of Spring.

We did not have much snow this winter, but the mountains will remain white for a while longer.

Atomic City is near the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory (INEL) and Craters of the Moon National Monument.

I visited the establishment below and ordered a diet Pepsi to quench my thirst.

As you can see, we still have snow at the lower elevations, also.

I stopped in Blackfoot, Idaho, for a stromboli dinner. Do you know that we grow spuds in Idaho?

That looks like a great ride, Spud. I love the refreshment stop. It just has that middle of nowhere feel that I love. Stromboli for dinner you say? You are a lucky man!
