I think that the 200cc parts will bolt on to your bottom end.

Try the scrapyards for a 200cc china bike and grab the top end.

I believe so. You will need to verify if you have a pushrod or OHC engine.

My lifan GY2 is a pushrod engine. You could look for one of those or parts for one of those.

I very much doubt that you'll find many 200cc parts in the breakers here in the UK. There are 2 variations of the 200cc OHV motor, both have a longer stroke as well. Bolting on a 200 top end (assuming it fits) will only give you 155cc or 173cc bepending on the bore of the 200 top end. You may be able to put the 200 crank into your 125 casings but it's by no means straight forward. Although these Chinese motors all look the same there are some big internal differences. If you have your heart set on a bigger motor there plenty of people in the UK who will sell you a complete motor but it ain't cheap at about £300+ shipping.

Jonathan.

The 125 to 200 will not just bolt up. The 150's and 200's might as they have the same stroke, but the 125 is shorter.

THANKS

The mechanical parts should swap OK, there are variations in the wiring, most have 2.8mm mini blades on the CDI and regulator. My Hongdou has 6.3mm blades.

Thanks Red for clearing that up.

I realize that you probably are looking for more power while on a restricted license yet. I really think the easiest solution would be for you to put in a larger engine.

You will probably need a larger carb also.
