vibes
I seem to have vibes from the range of 3000 rpms to 5500 rpms. Higher than that they seem to go away. Which is good because I usually cruise at 6500rpms.
Does anyone else have vibes in this range. I have a gy200-2. Do you think a gy5 with a counter balanced engine make the vibes go away. Does the counter balancing make zero vibes. |

The two back engine bolts are likely the culprit. You may have to go the Gorilla Glue route to reduce the vibes, I did.

I did replace the two back bolts because they broke. It doesn't vibe at above 5500 rpms so most of the time It's pretty smooth.
I have heard on this site that those with the counterbalance engines also receive some vibes so I don't know how much of a difference it would make by having this feature. |
