...so I made a thing.

It's to agitate an air brush paint bottle while I'm getting things set up. When I'm spraying, it will be agitating the next color.

The bottles can sit for months at a time and I'm tired of getting a sore shoulder shaking the little boogers. Testors are the worst, the pigment separates from the carrier and sets up like clay. If you painted model cars, you know.

I used a Tamiya reduction unit, a 2A power supply @ 3VDC, a conduit clamp as a bottle holder, and a 2K ohm pot as a speed control. I would have preferred a 1K pot for a touch better control but I used what I had on hand.

Years ago I made a thing. That thing grew up and made a thing. We (mostly my wife) watch this thing every other weekend. It agitates me from time to time.

Ahh. I was instrumental in the development of two things, but had little to do with the manufacturing process. Those two things made two things each. The two things in Maine cause slight agitation. The two things that are nearby cause some more. Especially the older one.
