Bashan Storm 250 rear rack modification

I didn't need the rear rack on my Storm 250 and I didn't like having to lift my leg over it. Unfortunately you can't just remove it because it also secures the rear of the seat and the upper taillight housing. Plus I liked the side handles there to manhandle the bike around, and to attach tie-downs when I haul it in my pickup. My solution was to cut off the rear rack but leave the handles. A little sanding and spray paint made it look like it came that way from the factory.
