Tell me about the F.I. CG motors

Is the new F.I. on the CG's any good. Like the one on that X Pro Hawk? What about mods? Like any reflashes or tuners avail for some more Juice when you uncork it? I'm sure ya'll have probably already discussed this but I didn't see a thread. And if so Please point me in the direction of it. Thanks Fellers.

I would wait a few weeks. Venom Motorsports will be getting the Lifan KPX 250 in. It's a true 250cc OHC engine with EFI, a 6 speed transmission and 20hp. I know some tricks on bump the fuel ratio up.

I have one on the waiting list.

There has been a lot of people that talk about how they can tune the ECU, but I have yet seen anybody with anything functional. That doesn't mean it isn't out there mind you, just nothing has been posted on it here or on Youtube. As Jerry said, there are some tricks that can be done to tweak the fueling a little bit, but those tricks can only do so much. If you are wanting to do major engine work then I would say to not bother.

As Jerry said, the new KPX250 basically comes with the power of a very modified CG Hawk (cam, head porting, etc) completely stock, and also comes with the extra transmission gear most of us Hawk owners wish we had. It also comes with Lifan quality and warranty support. It's worth the extra money IMHO.

I remember calling either DynoJet or Cobra to ask if they made a piggy-back FC for the RX4/Zonghen 450 when i owned it... and they were like Zonga-who?
