battery fell off

hey guys, so i'm riding around and the battery plastic just broke clean off... leaving it dangling. guess i'm gonna have to do the battery mod. ay yi yi

How do i do this mod? I saw pictures of it... but What is the airbox you have to take off? is it a vital part of the bike? need some direction. Thanks.

here are the pics, the first is showing how it broke off.. also there is a picture of the airbox thing where people have put the battery.... i'm not sure what to take off or anything. HELP!!!!!!!!!!

ive had exactly the same problem with mine, thinking about relocating it somewhere underneath the seat :wink:

well not had a battery for 2 months, might get 2 big jubilee clips to hold it on as the plastic shite aint much good

Do you weld?
If you do, fab your battery box under the seat.

I used metal brackets that I bolted on. Hardware store special. Then zip tied for safety but my mod never failed. My pics are in my album on page 8 of the gallery. Don't Panic! N2r.

Do what you feel you need to do for your bike, I felt that the battery under the seat was a better place for me. N2r
