Where have all the Chinese 250cc - 300cc scooters gone???
Hey, y'all.
It seems to be increasingly hard to find a good Chinese scooter in the 250 cc - 300 cc range. A while back, they were everywhere. Even Kymo (Taiwanese) disco'd the X-Town 300i for 2022. A "mini" maxi-scoot would be great for commuting...especially with the superior gas mileage. Very, very slim pickings. Anyone else looking out there?

I noticed too. I found only one Chinese maxi scoot after searching for an hour or so.
The one I found was old stock, because it was air cooled and had a carb. -Chinese dual sport bikes are the reason, IMHO. You can get a decent dual sport for a little more than $1,500. Chinese maxi scoots are $2,000 and up. I can no longer find the big Linhais and Ice Bear maxi scoots.
