CSC slip on muffler
Has anyone on here ever tried to install just a slip exhaust on their TT 250, or Hawk? Personally, I’d love to find someone with a stock Hawk DLX exhaust system to try on our TT. But, I wouldn’t be against a slip on if someone knows of such a jewel. I just don’t really care for the “made to fit” header of the eBay exhaust most folks use. Surely someone has tried something else…….
The DLX exhaust looks like it could be a direct bolt on, plugging the sensor hole on the header of course……. Thanks in advance |

I can tell you the tbr7 muffler clamps to the csc headpipe, if you trim a little bit off the headpipe.

Could you show a pic of your exhaust on your tbr7? If it is FMF, what is its normal application?

I took the T4 off because of fitment/clearance issues. I use it offroad allot and the brake caliper would hit the can causing brake issues and denting up the can. I can tell you that the t4 is nowhere close to lining up to the stock headpipe.

If your cat is in the front end of the muffler, I guess this would be ineffective! But if not, you can probably drill out any rivets on the eaxhaust tip, and drill a circular pattern of 5 or 6 holes to bypass the restrictive muffler port circuit. It is hidden if you replace the tip. You can test it before you replace the tip just in case you want more... |
