I added this folding basket to my Lifan X-Pect. Very uncool, but functional.
I bought this folding basket on Amazon. I got the idea from another thread here where someone found a folding crate.
I mounted it to the factory rack mounting points. I did have to get some longer bolts from my local hardware store. The bungee cords keep it from rattling when it's down and can be used to hold items when I need to use the rack. It's not super sturdy. I could reinforce the bottom if I wanted, but it's plenty strong for the small things I want to carry. I generally use it for when I'm running small errands and want to take the bike. |

If anyone cares, this is the folding crate I used. I got it on Amazon. There are lots of different choices as far as sizes:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3D5RPG Today I went to the grocery store and bought two six packs of beer, a 2 liter bottle of soda and a couple boxes corn dogs that my kids like. That was definitely the most I could carry in this. |

Looks like a good solution for the purpose. Definitely better looking than the pink basket, too.
I’ve looked at many different options, but keep going back to the metal rack like someone posted for the TBR7. Getting by okay for now with a strap on the tiny factory platform, but would certainly not be able to carry that much.

I love it! Reminds me of rigging up a milk carton on the handlebars as a kid.
