Washington State RX-4
67 year old with 50 years of riding. Got my RX-4 yesterday!
Adders from CSC: Hand Guards CSC Bash Plate Shinko 804 / 805 tires First changes: Adjusted the clutch cable. As-delivered there was NO gap. To the point of clutch slippage. Adjusted Chain. Way too tight as received. Threw away plastic swingarm mounted mud guard. Backed off the shock pre-load. Still to stiff for my 150 lbs. I need to re-spring. Rode 30 miles on Forest Service roads today. After riding I lowered the foot brake lever and raised the shifter lever to comply with my off-road boots I couldn't wipe the grin off my face. |
