Progressive. Go the online route, easy peasy and you'll have insurance in about 5 minutes. Print your card right off the net. Liability only is $75 per year for all enduros through Rpogressive. Just choose "other" and then write in the type of bike afterwards when they ask for more details.

I use Progressive too. I like the ease of being able to make changes on the internet. Liability insurance on the GY5 is $75 per year. Also $75 per year on my Goldwing. Think hitting a car with a Goldwing would do more damage than hitting it with a Lifan?

ICBC, Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, the only choice, the government run insurance company who makes huge profits and gives huger bonuses to it's higher ups...
Very barebones minimum allowed to be on the street insurance for me is around $380-400 (for the year). I am not covered for fire, theft, vandalism, or for my own bike if I am at fault in an accident.

Yep Jim me to. I have to get an appraisal from one of the official few who do old bikes, then get a seperate policy for theft. (I'm in the process)
$407 for the year and I only have an M2 licence. Getting the M licence won't change what I pay. But, after 3 years with the bike I can get vintage insurance and that's closer to $200 a year. |

ICBC offers Collectors plates, insurance for them is a lot less, I know a guy with an old goldwing 1100 or something, and he only pays about 280 for a year I believe, but the bike has to be I think 25 years old, this applies to cars and trucks... You also are only allowed to use a collector vehicle for pleasure use, you can't drive to work with it. I believe you also need to have another, non collector vehicle insured.

I'm with State Farm.
After paying for insurance on 3 other vehicles, the cost of the bike is just a little bump in the road. I don't remember what I paid and it was only a few weeks ago. I know I coiuld be covered cheaper elsewhere, but I like the service I get.

Yep here too jim. I don't know about the, having to insure a second vehicle part, I hope not. The wife doesn't pay much for the car and it's with another co. My bike is 36 this year and will be 38 before I qualify for vintage. Ya the plate would look sweet too. Sorry for all the canadian info KENTEVER, but now don't you feel great about having to pay $75. N2r.

Florida doesn't even require insurance on 2 wheeled vehicles. But I wouldn't do without. Couldn't belive it, only $6 a year for liability, added on to my other bike's policy. I have Geico Cycleguard
Sometimes life is good....and no, I don't work for Geico... So easy a cave man could do it...
