Hawk Engine in tbr7

So it seems here lately there is a major shortage of tbr7 engines. Every single place that says they're in stock has either canceled the order minutes after it's placed, or the price itself is almost the price of a new bike.

I've heard the Hawk engine is the same, so I was wondering if it was a simple bolt in replacement. Can anyone confirm that is it, or will I need to do some wire splicing for things like the cdi, gear shift display etc etc?

As near as I can tell they'll bolt in.
