Good price, great bike. I would get the DB-07A with the OHC engine or the DB-07B with the OHC. The push rod engine has some vibe issues.

That's pretty cheap. I own someting like the db-05 which is very similar to that design so I'll go ahead and comment assuming you don't own a china bike yet.

My bike is a 2005 has over 3,500 miles on it and some of those are off road. It can get close to 70mph, but if the wind is against you only 55-60. It gets about 60-70mpg (not 100 as some say). The headlight cover was poorly desinged and broke easily as did the rear plastic holding the tail light and license plate when I took it off road. I've broken down numerous times, but it's always been simple unlucky stuff. (chain, bearing, tire).

I now have taken off the rear lights and license plate and zip tied them directly to the frame. My guess is that this bike has taken a pretty hard beating during its life. The plastics aren't up to it but the engine seems great.

If you buy it, just remember to do all the important maintainence tips. Grease you bearing immediately (seals will pop off with a small screwdriver). Change the oil, etc. I think you'll be pleased. This bike has taught me a lot, and I still ride it around.

There are a few online dealers with similar bike(s)/price, including shipping. I called scootersfactory about a model they show, the Qingqi GY-A, and the sales lady was fairly clueless about the bike, including the brand name! If you do get the bike, keep in mind that you will probably be on your own, but this site will keep you going, so don't worry.

Not a bad bike for the price. I paid about that for my Shineray DB-P13 from powersportsmax and I am happy with my bike.

Just did a "live chat" with a rep from the website. They told me that the DB-07 IS OHC...any disputes? Really looking forward to placing my order and want to make sure I go the way with my decesion. The less $ the better, any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks guys,

joeyo25

I have the DB-07. I have around 1500 miles on it. I imagine I have the pushrod engine because it vibrates at lower speeds/rpms. I have had a couple issues with it. I had to replace the horn to pass inspection, and some other small issues. Basically when I did the bike prep I got off of this forum it covered all the issues I was having. Be prepeared to do some work on it, and don't be intimidated if you dont know much about bikes. I am clueless but anything you need to know you can find here.

All things considered I would purchase the bike again. I love it. I use mine more for off road, but have started riding it to work. It has been very dependable and I think its really cool looking. I paid 1041.00 out the door at Goldenvale in Dallas. I had no trouble with registration or insurance either.

Good luck with whatever you do, but from a fellow owner I say it’s a great bike for the money.
