eBay cam kit
Has anyone tried these eBay cam kits on the cg250?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/39322369074...kAAOSw35dgWZt0 One concern would be the inability to adjust the tappets. Or maybe I’m missing something. I’m looking to improve performance much like Megadan did with his cam install. Let me know what you think After looking at it more, I realized the cam followers would not effect the rocker arms in the head |

They claim it is not a standard cam. Only way to know would be to buy it and compare. If what they say is true, it would be hard to beat for the price. The only thing I don't like is that they don't list any actual information about the cam.

According to google it’s the model number for a Lifan engine.

Lol, now I feel dumb for asking that. That was a simple way to find the answer.

In their description it says the cam is not stock configuration. Then it seems they did a copy and paste text book definition of a performance cam. It’s vague as heck. It says it may do this and it may do that. No definitive answer. A little effort on the manufactures part would net them some more sales. I’m sure they don’t care. They could hire someone from fiver to translate and write a description for them lol.

Yeah, the shipping from Brazil is more than half the cost. That is the only thing I hate about it. I do also agree, the image shows a cam that looks different, but it's hard to trust pictures from listings like these too.

If I had another bike I would happily order one for comparison sake. I have a stock cam sitting in a box to compare it to. The issue is, I have no need for any of these parts, and if I order it and discover it isn't anything special I am basically stuck with more parts I don't need. Otherwise, I would pull the trigger just to find out.

Well I think I’m going to try one, but I will probably wait till the riding season is over before I install it. I hate having the bike tore apart when I could be riding. But if there is a string of rainy days, then who knows.

Tempting, likewise see what next winter holds. Got too much mechanic work keeping up with issues right now.
