Dual Sport for short rider

As I look at the specifications of the various makes and models, the seat heights seem very high unless there is a lot of suspension sag when you get on the bike.

I am looking for any suggestions for a model for a 5' 5" rider with a short inseam.

Thanks,
Mike

as mentioned above yamaha has two air cooled dual sports acceptable to short riders..(thats me) Both just under $5000.00.
Kawasaki Versys X300 and Z400 are both good and are just under $5000.00.
You'l find that the best for dual sports capable are all a couple hairs under 32" seat height What will be the best is personal opinions.
Royal Enfields Himalayan 410cc single has an excellant all round reputation for a rugged reliable though not blazing fast. Will ttake you most anywhere on this green globe.
Sadly the only decent offering from China is the Lifan XPect.. a fuel injected 200cc.
197cc, 12 cubic inch single.
14 hp @ 8000 rpm,
13.8 NM touque @6500 rpm
5 speed, 19" front, 17" rear wheel
286 lbs dry
57" wheel base
32" seat height
Like most China Bike sales,..You need to exaimine the base cost..then, if shipping is a part of the final price or approx. $300.00 shipping.
After comparing the price amoung different dealers you can clump the offering between free shipping or shipping added to final cost.
So; What this boils down to is a roughly $5000.00 Japanese or Indian bike. Or, a roughly $2000.00 Chinese bike.. The selection can be agonizing.. My selection is of course based on financing and Iam looking at what can be had for the best monthly payments.

Dual sports are all tall bikes.

Lower the front forks a bit, put in a 290mm shock and cut a little length off the kickstand.

This is the one I got. I am 5'7" and do just fine with this one on a TBR7. I am guessing it should work for all the others of similar make since they are similar, like the hawk.

Also for the used bike short rider dual sport possibilities the Kawasaki Sherpa KL250 , Yamaha Serow XT225. Both 6 speed.

And for the retro look TW200 alternative there is the the Suzuki Vanvan.
