The short answer is....yes, your plug will work. Those in bold are the recommended plugs, and not the only plugs that will work.
The long answer... Plugs are not all equal. Some burn cooler, others hotter. Each engine needs to be tuned for the conditions under which it operates, so one engine may need a hotter plug, while another will need a cooler plug. Everything in the system from the air filter, to the carb jet, to the exhaust...all determine how the engine runs...i.e. lean or rich. Too much fuel or too much air....which is what helps determine what plug is best. Having said that, I really only have a basic understanding of how it all works. I'm sure many others here could offer better advice as to the best plug for you to use in your specific application, but the one you mentioned will fit, and it will work. It may not, however, allow the engine to perform at it's best. That would require more information about your bike and it's current performance. I hope that helps. (And I trust that someone will correct me where I'm wrong! )

I see what You are saying now, The dr8ea is just a resistor version of the d8ea....Hope that clears it up.

I run NGK plugs on my 83 chevy blazer. Best ones I've had so far.
