As long as it is compatible with aluminum engines it should be fine.

This is not exactly right. Many coolants are incompatible with each other. Unless you are doing an extremely thorough cleaning and flush, you have to be careful that the new coolant won't interact with the old. For example even just a little bit of coolant from a pre-2013 Jeep mixed with a post-2013 Jeep will cause the coolant to become jelly.

Calvarez - I know exactly what your saying. Do you or any of the CSC rx3 Guys in the US use Preston 50/50 premix anti freeze? It’s no silicate , ethelyne glycol antifreeze, same as coolanol’s base.
I tried the Yamaha dealership to get yamalube coolant and no dice, coolanol is avail but I gotta order it in. Preston 50/50 - lots available locally. Gotta love small town Canada lol

I use Toyota super long life (pink)
It is a HOAT but uses Phosphate instead of Silica, hence P-HOAT

It is the same as Honda type-2 and will last 5 yrs
