The quality on these handlebar guards is night and day between stock.

They are worth the extra money. I would recommend to not even install the ones that come with the bike and just buy these.

I fabricated a custom metal spacer with notching on the grinder to install and used the factory threading at the end of the grips with M6 hex bolts end for use with a socket.
