Need help identifying bike

I've hit a road block trying to find a replacement rim or spoke kit to have this bike fixed. My son was given it and I can't even locate the actual model of the bike. I ran a Vin decoder and it comes back as
China Taishan Group

Any resources out there I should check out to figure this out?

I just spent the last few hours looking at china-bikes for my son. I may be able to assist you. What size is the engine? Is it 110cc or 125cc? Also, is the transmission manual, semi-auto or auto?
