Noticeable improvement

Just got back from a test ride with the new ported and decked head. It does stupid easy rolling wheelies in 1st and just gets the wheel up in 2nd. I did a sped run on the freeway and it got to 71, up from a previous high of 65. I was at about 8k in top and the bike was missing at wot, maybe going up from a 115 main will get me through the miss fire?

Yes, you will need to bump up the main jet size quite a bit after porting the head. I don't know how aggressive your port work is, but I would say at least a 125 to 130 main to start. My Hawk is on a 135 main with the PE30 carb.

I took a lot of material out of the exhaust port on the top side of the runner and around the valve guide area. I took some from the intake port and removed the part lines on the port sides

there's a couple of threads on this site on how to do it, mostly it's the exhaust port that needs work and take .040 off the head to raise the CR
