Hello From Ohio

I am a brand new rider, I used to own a 50cc scooter, and am now looking at purchasing a motorcycle. I really miss riding. I have driven my fathers CanAm, but was not a fan of it. I live in Ohio, so I would be riding every season but winter. I am thinking a cruiser or chopper. I really do not know as I am only 5'5" but my weight is 260 so a sport bike is out of the question due to the reach and comfort level.

What are some good quality brand names of Chinese motorcycles. I know Lifan, but is venom also a good company to buy from?

Welcome to the forum! I'm sure you'll get information here, but not from me. I'm new too, and don't live in the USA. Hope you can find the right bike!

Welcome aboard! The Venom X22R 250 has a low seat height. I own one and is very comfortable and using it for a daily commuter. Lifan makes the KPR200 and KPM200 but not real sure of the seat height.

either of them would be a good bike. But you might also consider the mainstream brands. 250s are generally starter bikes and people often move up to larger sizes. here's an example from CL in my area. it may be an alternative worth considering.

In my area usually nothing but ridiculously priced old Harleys. There are others but most that I would get are more expensive than one of the Chiba bikes new.
