Hawk Digital Cluster in a TBR7 - No Neutral?

So, it took me a few days to rewire the plug under the triple tree and the green/white plug mid-bike to make the Hawk Digital Cluster on Amazon work with the 2020 TBR7. Tac works great. All five gears show up. Speedo works (-3 mph from the portable police radar trailer I test it on). But the yellow "N" will not show up in the cluster (I swear it did at one point). When I shift to neutral, there's normally a bracketed area that shows [1] thru [5] and when in neutral shows [ ]. Any tips or advice on what I did wrong to make the "N" not show in the cluster or do you think I got a bad unit?

Why didn't you buy my cluster much easier to plug in n play......

Unplug the shift indicator plugs and stick a short piece of wire in the cluster side plug in the green/white wire hole and touch it to a ground with the key on. It should light up then you will know if the cluster is defective or not. Then if it lights then you have other problems.

Did you connect the neutral wire from the loom etc?
That’s what I meant but light only etc
No N where numbers show
