Make sure your MSO is filled out.

Just a heads up to make sure your (the buyer's) information is added completely to the MSO before handing it in at registration. Mine wasn't and I needed to contact my dealer (Powersportsmax.com) and have them sign a "Dealer Reassignment of Title" form. Not a big deal, but slows things down and if you don't have a good dealer it could be an issue contacting them in these special times.

Powersportsmax.com has been very responsive and helpful with my purchase so far. Kudos to them.

I am new to this but it simply amazes me these dealers don't have this down pat for every state by now, I have read of things like this I don't know how many times here in the last couple of weeks that I have been going through threads here.
why is it some companies put ( or claim to put ) all the needed paper work in the crate and some don't?
I was told the mco was only in the crate in case customs opened it, is that true?

The MSO for my Hawk was mailed to me separately. I actually received it before the motorcycle. Seems to me if they don't "pre-fill" out the buyer information, that would be the safest thing to do. I'm not sure why some dealers do it this way versus including the MSO in the crate, pre-filled out for the buyer. Guess we'd have to ask a dealer.

It would have been nice to have known I needed to finish filling out the MSO, but I can't say too much since my dealer has been very responsive through the entire process.

I am glad it is working out well, it gives me hope because I am going to be jumping this ditch in the near future and I am a little nervous about dealing with the state.

FWIW Q9 filled mine out correctly and even had it notorized...... it was pretty smooth transaction with Q9 .... that's just how it went for me... can't say it would always work out that way....
