Hawk 17t sprocket issue
I have a 2019 Hawk DLX and after installing a 17t front sprocket I’m having a hard time getting the sprocket cover back on.
Does it need trimming to fit the larger sprocket or do I need to force it back on ??. |

Jay and I both had to trim ours. About a 3/4" wide section at the front of the cover about 3" long worked for us. And you can't tell unless you pull the cover off. Tried doing it with a dremel but that aluminum is pretty thick. A 4" angle grinder made short work of it though.

I didn’t have to trim mine, but I had to install the cover and then feed the chain through. Don’t know why, but it worked for me.
