Nibbi Carb

So is there any specific jets for nibbi pe30 like the vm26 mikuni clone? Or if Iget pe30 jets they will fit not like the vm26 where the pilot requires a vm28/486 ect.

99101-393 mains and N424-21 Pilot jets just like the PE30. The harder jets to find are the 30-32 sizes, mostly found as non OEM jets. Most OEM supplied jets start at 35.

Dan, what do you think about this listing? How do you think it will compare to the Nibbi PWK30?

Thanks dan your so much help cant thank you enough. Now I'm in process of waiting for the new head and trying get intake for the nibbi I couldn't get the link to work on English TaoBao for some reason and tried to navigate the Chinese one lol didnt work. But ive narrowed these two adapters that should at least fit the head and I can make work hopefully. Another question Dan does the throttle cable work with the nibbi carb I assume it does.

I was looking t the knockoffs fir two days straight and came to the conclusion that they look like good carbs but what youuuu get isn't. Lllike the picture for 30 bucks or so it's just not worth it. Idk maybe Dan can chine in but I got same one dan got for 79.99 for peace of mind with genuine nibbi. Fuel delivery is so important after reading and thinking about it the carb is a big part of how your bike performs.

I would say it is a typical cheap PWK with a paint job. Many people have used the cheaper ones with good success, such as Jerry. I just happened to get a bad one. If your budget is happier with a cheaper one, then go for it. They almost all use the same jets, with a couple of them out there using the newer long hex style mains.

I have tried both of those intakes and neither of them would work on my bike. If they will work for you is a different question though. The metal nibbi intake works as far as alignment, but it put the bottom of the bowl into the frame. The angled carb adapter (bottom one) works for a few guys but not for me. Jerry thinks there was a change in the frame design between the early and later Hawks, because his works just fine, and mine points it right at part of the frame.

The stock cable should work just fine as far as the throttle and throttle slide ends. Considering the cable is almost a little too long for the PZ30 carb.

That's what I wanted confirm. I wanted to know if the ebay carb was inferior to the Nibbi carb. I'll just pony up, and spend the money on the Nibbi if I do the swap. After dealing with several china bikes, I have come to realize how important the carb is....

Dan, could you suggest a few pilot and main jet sizes for the PWK30 Carburetor? Currently I have the Mikuni VM26 with a 27.5 pilot, and a 120 main. Bike runs good, but a little on the rich side. I am at sea level.

Since it is a flat slide and on a different bike it is hard for me to give you anything remotely accurate. I would suggest having pilot jets from 30 to 40 (30/32/35/38/40) on hand. The main jet will be close to the same, at least as far as I have found, but again I have a round slide vs. a flat slide. When in doubt, start with what might be a bit rich and work your way down. Put in a 125 main to start with and just be ready to step down. The best thing you can do is get that pilot jet figured out first, leave the needle in the middle, and then sort out the main jet, and then do the needle last if needed.

I am currently at a 35 pilot and a 122 main with the needle in the third notch, but I also have my head ported and a longer than standard intake.

Thank you Dan, much appreciated! Besides the easier access to the air/idle screws do you think the PE30 will perform better/worse than the PWK30? It looks like from a bolt in the PE30 will fit better with the air filter box, and manifold adapter than the PWK30 carb.

On my PWK30 i'm running a 38 pilot and a 125 main. You will probably get about the same performance out of either one.
