Chinese 125 ATV starting Issues
I’ve been working on an ATV the last few days. Changed the key switch, took apart carb and soaked the jets plus blew all the holes on the carb. Did it twice. New oil, fuel filter, spark plug, and air filter. When I start it, it starts with the throttle pushed and then it stops. A bust of air comes out and a noise from the muffler like some sputtering fluid coming out. Does the same thing again and again. Any help would be appreciated. Will try to include a video.

What ATV are you working on, and was the problem present before all the maintenance you did?

Common issue is an air leak either between the intake manifold and engine or between the intake manifold and the carb. Tighten these bolts being careful not to strip the threads. When tightening the manifold to the carb you can add nuts on the bolt ends so you can tighten. This has solved a few issues for me. Also, in my experience with the stock carbs, rarely can all the ports in the carb can be cleaned. You could try replacing it and upgrade to an adjustable carb. $20. And use only ethanol free fuel, aka clear gas.
