That’s the exact carb I bought. Seems to work so far. Can you also help with a link to where you got the pilot jet? I think I got the name right. The longer jet, the slow jet. I bought a set of pilot jets on Amazon, but they were completely the wrong size and didn’t fit. I had to return them. The main jet set I bought was great, but I’d appreciate a link to the slow jet. Thanks.

Pilot Jet

Also main jet, if you want to buy genuine jets and not mess around with the cheap jets that are either mislabled or incorrectly sized.

Yep, love the little Mikuni. Have them on everything (- RX3's). Makes jetting easy and they run superb.

If you want a Chinese fake that says Mikuni on the stem and Japan by the bowl search B07CN36W65 on Amazon.. $29.00

That's as close as you'll get to a real Mikuni that is 30mm with 48mm stud holes..

There is actually a real one that has a polished body and plunger choke, but it's extremely hard to find.. I don't know if it's because it's old OEM or what. This is why mine is still rocking a PZ30..

You can also replace the airbox and use a 48mm intake adapter and use any Mikuni you want.

most common working pilot sizes are 25, 27.5, and 30.

Main jet sizes range from 105 to 115 for most bikes. depending on mods.

The best combo for an otherwise stock bike is a 25 and a 105.

As with all jetting, there are many factors at play so these are not set in stone and your bike and area may require adjustments from there.

Easiest way to identify the Mikuni clone is the 4 bowl screws vs. the 3 on the PZ30 carbs.

Unless you get a mutant hybrid like my PZ30B (pumper) which says Mikuni on the carb body and has the centered carb bore like a mikuni, has 3 bowl screws like a PZ30, takes the odd ball pilot like the stock pz30 carb but uses Mikuni main jets.

Gotta love stuff from China.

The Mikuni IMO realy isn't an upgrade of much
Look at this set as it isn't expensive and has a lot of stuff in it.

Not much of an upgrade outside of full tuning capability on all jets and port matched to the intake. Unless you magically found a set of pilot jets instead of a drill bit that only gives you one size option, which is then not reversible if it happens to be too big.
