Hello from Buffalo

Hi everyone
I'm from Buffalo NY and just got delivery of two Lifan 200 street bikes
My daughter wanted to learn and I haven't had a bike for a couple of years so we decided to try these (price)
one of the bikes arrived in perfect condition the other not so perfect
anyway I got them put together and they started right up
nuts and bolts started to rattle off and hit the floor so I guess I will be busy with the Lock-Tight for a while
it's about 10 degrees in Buffalo so I am hoping for a break in the weather soon
any other New Yorkers out there?
looking forward to sharing information and stories

Welcome to the forum. Look in the dual sport forum at the bike prep checklist. It applies to street bikes too.

Go out and buy the BIG tube of loktite and check ALL the bolts.

Also check the wiring for possible pinch points.

Welcome. There is a dealer from near you, I think on the Canadian side of the border?

I just read on another forum to keep the Loc-tite away from bolts holding plastic body parts on a bike. It seems this stuff will eat the plastic to the point that the panel will fall off the bike.
