New front tire

3500 miles on the stock tires. I think it was time to replace the front tire. Rear still good for another 2000 miles.
The center stands sure came in handy. Big thanks to kirbo7106 for sending me his stock Hawk tires.

My 2017 had the same style tires you just put on your bike. I am curious to see if you have the same results I did, where the rear wore faster than the front.

It's also rather amazing how bad those seals are on the factory bearings.

I hope they last longer than 3000 miles. The rear are holding up well.

The seals popped right out with the tip of a razor knife. They snapped right back in place after greasing the bearings.

Your pics look like the amount of grease I put on my wheel.

I just replaced my rear bearings & front & rear brake pads along with new brake cylinder at 1750 miles. All existing factory Break & Bearings are WEAK & WORTHLESS! Then again my bike gets tortured through lots of mud & sand. 90% highway - 10% mud. Now to replace front bearings.

Oh yah, My rear shock has seen better days. With my weight on bike I can just fit my fingers in between ebay muffler & knobs on rear tire. Noticed muffler looked polished underneath from tire rub.

Best thing I ever invested in my Hawk was the dual oil coolers.

We went test out the new tire at the spillway yesterday. Rain, mud and water. My daughter stuck the UTV pretty good. Lol It took the Coolster 150 and another 4 wheelers to pull it out. I'm looking for some 25" or 26" tires and rims to put on it to get a little more ground clearance. I went through some deap water holes myself. As you can see I got a little muddy myself. I shots some video. I'll post as soon as I get a chance to edit.

Edit: We had a drizzling rain the whole time we were out there. Notice how the sun came out when we got home.

They're open underneath the seals? Haha, I didn't know that.

Are the bearings on these hubs a standard size? I think I'll need to replace mine before long. Wouldn't mind throwing in some properly sealed ones.

Yeah, that seal cover comes right off with the tip of a razor knife. lol But makes it easy to grease it.

I think Megadan has the part numbers in his Hawk Info thread.

Us older guys have to write that kind of stuff down. Kind of like old computers. We have to remove stuff from our hard drive so we can put more in.

I wouldn't say I have much of an advantage. I deal with numbers and bearings every day, so if comes second nature Ask me to remember a birthday. Or the name of somebody I met 2 hours ago and I would be screwed.

I need to pack some grease in mine I'm sure but my miles are low so they should be ok right now. I'll be setting up a new speedo so I'll try to check it out then.

You and your bike looks like there was fun to be had!

We had a blast. I was surprised at how many people were out even though it was raining and wet and muddy. It was a good thing there were other people out there because I don't know how we would got the UTV out. Besides the bigger tires I'm going to put one of those cheap HF winch 's on it too.

Megadan, Notice how after 3500 miles how much thread is left on the rear?
