CSC TT250 Lost Gear Shift Off Roading. What Can I Replace it With.

So I took the TT 250 off road today, hit a rut and lost my gear shift. Luckily there was a Walmart not far from where I ride and a pair of $1.98 vice grips got me home! Last time I go off road with out tools and backups. Anyway, if I went to a local bike shop, is there a standard gear shift that should fit the TT 250? I know I can probably order one from CSC, but wasn't crazy about the quality of this one, and wouldn't mind something a little more durable. Any suggestions?

You may not have been crazy about the quality of it....
But that lack of quality as you put it may have saved a bent gear selecter shaft..
Better to replace a broken gear lever than a bent shaft...
some thing can be to strong then the next weakest part suffers..

Yeah, that's a good point. Funny that you said that because I was thinking the same thing last night as I pulled the remainder of the shifter from the gear shaft. I ordered a replacement on aliexpress, I'll probably go to a local shop in the meantime and find something that fits it. I'll be ordering a few things from CSC too, so I may add another shifter to my order to have as a backup, or put on the bike when I'm riding rougher trails. I can always use the others for backups. Thanks.

Any shifter for a Honda XR400 will work on the Hawk and TT250.

Thanks Megadan! That's what I was hoping for. I'm going down to the Honda shop tomorrow to grab one hopefully. Then I'll have some backups that I ordered from aliexpress too.
