Hammer 200cc

I just put together my new Hammer 200cc, looks just like a taotao bull. I have no idea who makes it. My issue is it is very hard to steer. What needs to be done to loosen it up?

Thanks for the help

Just grease up all the steering components.

How is the steering shaft clamped to the frame? Can you show us?

steering

try to ;oosen the spindle bolts to the a arms mounts.. back off the tie rods nuts... just alittle... and put the cotter pins back in.. if everything is real good and tight... then it becomes hard to turn,.,.. I have done this when assembling KIDS ATV... AND THEN THEY ARE TOO WEAK TO TURN.. have the stuff... just alittle loose... but nnot loose.. you know what I mean..

Well since the last post in October. I loosened things up. I took it out to the ATV park and rode it. With use it has loosened up. It has been in storage for the winter. Now that it is out again It does not want to stay in forward, It is slipping. is there a clutch adjustment? It has less than 3 hours on it.

clutch

is it the linkage adjust ment...??? or clutch slipping... look on youtube for clutch adjustment on 50 cc Honda... I would think it is jumping out of gear... not going fully in gear... so check your adjustment
