Video tips
If I wanted to video my ride on my Hawk would you suggest I mount the camera on my bike or on my helmet?

On your helmet. Less vibration and the video will be whatever you are viewing with your eyes.

Great tips. I can't wait to try it. I just need a 50 degree day..... perhaps April.

I would imagine editing is a fine art that is probably not easy. I think you have to remember to think that you are telling a story with pictures (and monologue/ dialogue) which needs a beginning, a subject or cause, the follow through, and the conclusion.i think that's called continuity(?)

Can't stand a video that has annoying music backgrounds. If I wanted to hear music I would WATCH A MUSIC VIDEO. It doesn't make your video or your ride any more appealing it makes me want to NOT watch it. Like was said I want to hear the bike, the wind maybe, and rider commentary.

Though I still can't shoot a video to save my life (looks great on my PC, always grainy once it hits You Tube), I was told by a member here that even though it's on your helmet, avoid looking around. It makes the video viewer sea sick, even though you're just trying to show them sights. I tried both, he was right.

Last time I noticed my sports cam perfectly fits on my molle vest. The video I made turned out pretty good.

If your cam has a pinhole mic, do yourself a favor and glue a piece of sponge over the hole. I'm putting up another video today, to show the difference. Wind noise is a pain in the arse. Off to the track!
edit: not great, but if you listen to my earlier videos there is a world of difference. Anyone else have a better method?
