New Oregon Guy

A new, blue, Lifan 200GY5 was delivered yesterday to my home in Bend. Bought it on line from Brian at http://www.motoxtreme.net in Virginia. The bike is assembled and ready to go as soon as I get the paperwork to get it licensed.

As a former motorcycle mechanic, and 40+ year motorcycle rider I am impressed with the value of the Lifan. For years I've wanted a small dual sport bike but have been unable to afford one until I found this one. Riding my 500lb Honda street bike on dirt and gravel roads is a bitch so the little Lifan will be liberating. Back roads and trails into the Cascade Mountains and the high desert start right outside my door.

Welcome Q!

Congratulations!

Oregon is a beautiful state (I lived on the central coast for 3+ years) but you better get some good knobbies so you can trail ride in the rain!

We're on the dry side of the Cascades in the high desert. Doesn't rain much here but it does snow in the winter. Need a sidecar.
