Hawk almost looks brand new again

A big box of stuff from RPS arrived yesterday, including new plastics and a few replacement parts that I've damaged by crashing repeatedly. I also installed an MSR folding tip shifter and I'm waiting on one of the TT250 skid plates from CSC. I think I'm going to powder coat the skid plate, maybe red to match or just flat black.

Still need to fix some wiring stuff, all the stuff necessary for the bike to run + the headlights are working, but a ton of wires got chewed up badly. Part of it is from crashing and pinching some poorly routed wires, and others might be from the pressure washer angling up inside there and possibly damaging some stuff?

Mostly I just need to splice some wires together, should be pretty straight forward. But it's running great and looks just as good, almost brand new if you don't pay attention to the dried up mud caked on the body and engine!

Ichris... did the same with my Yoak harness. I have it all tore up now adding farkels. That dirt is a badge of honor. You may not be so inclined to thrash a high dollar Honda so new.

Bike looks great!... but I have to admit, this line... "..damaged by crashing repeatedly..." conjured up all kinds of bad visuals. ;-)

And they can stand in front of a mirror and watch themselves heal.

Nice looking bike!

I definitely feel like an old man compared to these 14-16 year old kids who are out at the track, that's for sure. Now that it's all fixed up I'm going to take a bit more care of it lol. But at least a lot of the big hurdles on learning how to ride are out of the way! And fortunately all the crashes were on the dirt and sand.
