Interesting.....

Just found this while surfing the web. I'm imagining this engine in a hawk or storm with ported and polished head and a little overboard piston. Mmmmm the fun I could have.

Obviously, some mods would have to be made.... But, it would be soooooo worth it....

Would that be a direct replacement with the stock engine mounts?

FastDoc put an air cooled version of this OHC motor in an XR200 (Dirt Rat) a few years back. Worked great!

i dunno... but the time the motor goes south in my CB (hopefully many many miles down the road like spud....) ill probably have mine so upgraded out in every other way it may be worth it to bore it out to like 300 cc and drop an oil cooler kit on it... port and polish the head, etc.... just to see what kind of screamer i could build for a few hundred bucks! or even do a 300 cc liquid cooled set up! talk about surprising a few people!!!
