Berkshire Trail Ride...

Ok guys...here is a new video ride report...from sunday...

Me and three buddies i work with went out to the state forest and tore it up...

I crashed three times today...but only did very minor damage to Speedee...and no damage to myself other than my ass and my pride...
I actually caught one of the crashes on video...it's in there...so check it out if you're interested...and be sure to check out the last picture...it's kinda funny!!

This vid is 250megs...at 640x480...and 10 minutes...

It should stream reasonably well...but if it doesn't..please do the best you can with what you've got...i've had no trouble streaming it...

Hope you all had a great weekend...me and speedee are having a ball...

Great vid looks like a lot of fun,but do you think you could post a video of your bike in action? I know you posted one but the camera was fixed and really didn't get a good visual of speedy in action.

Alex,

The vid streamed perfectly without interuption.. Much better camera angle..

Its so awesome to see some good New England Trail ride reports.... Im going to have to look into the $2.00 camera mount, posted in the misc. section, as I dont care to have a helmet mount.

Sorry to hear you dumped 3 times... but thats the beauty of a DS. Little if anything happens if you lay it down.. I'm sure you'll dump alot less once you get a few more rides in. Live and learn...

Thanks fer sharing Alex....

Thank for checking it out guys...glad you like it...

AZ...yup...still running the stockers...but in reality...they are pretty good on the trails...almost as much nobby as the trail bikes i ride with...but not nearly as wide...and of course still good on the streets. In fact the tires are way more nobby that my buddies suzuki 400 DS...mine actualy do great on the trails...

We've gone through some wicked mud and rivers...and small ponds...and those tires have kicked ass every time...even when the dirt bikes got stuck...but of course it has a lot to do with the speed you're traveling at...the line you take...etc. Regardless...it's way too much fun!!

have a great night guys...

For the trail ride videos i use a Canon Powershot A570is...

It's an awesome little camera...

Being an astronomer, I have many cameras...but for overall daily use...and pocketability...the A570is can't be beat!!

In the interest of safety, i have replaced the bolt with a nice soft nylon 1/4-20 bolt...
